Fox Creek Radio Patrol The Fox Creek Radio Patrol is made up of local residents and business owners with an interest in keeping our neighborhood safe. The boundary area is Conner / Clairepoint to the west, Alter Rd. to the east, the Detroit River to the south and Charlevoix to the north.
Community Walks JEBA is proud to host monthly community walks. All are welcome to attend. The goal is to create a walkable community. For more information, contact Sheila Jackson at 313-331-7939 Ext. 303.
Code Enforcement As part of our Clean and Safe program, JEBA takes an active role in code enforcement. Through a solid relationship with local city agencies, we are able to keep property and business owners accountable for litter, water and sewer issues and building disrepair.
JEBA is also a partner with the City of Detroit Police Department CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design).
Wayne County Nuisance Abatement Program
JEBA works with the Wayne County Nuisance Abatement Program to target blight within the Jefferson East boundary area. This program is geared towards neglected properties within Wayne County. Through this partnership, and with the assistance of Wayne County Attorney personnel, JEBA addresses blight issues in the community.
Through diligent efforts, JEBA is currently working with 950 Manistique property owners on the rehabilitation of their property. The new property owners found this dilapidated apartment building through the Nuisance Abatement website.
