The goal of the Business Development Center is to expand small business opportunity in the Jefferson East community by assisting existing and start-up businesses and helping them locate along the Jefferson Avenue commercial corridor where appropriate. This will ultimately improve the economic atmosphere of the Jefferson East community and the City of Detroit as a whole.
