During the workshop, our Community Tech Workers (CTWs) will also train and demonstrate how to create and edit short videos, simply, using CapCut. If you're familiar with TikTok videos or other creative videos being shared on the internet - much of this content is edited using CapCut. Understanding how to use this free online video editor will help to elevate your marketing and branding while boosting and expanding your online presence.

Attendees will also have the chance to win a new laptop courtesy of AT&T and/or the opportunity to receive a free promo video recorded and edited by our CTWs!

Join Jefferson East, Inc, the Detroit Police Department (DPD), and the Wayne State University Center for Urban Studies to discuss crime patterns and trends occurring within DPD's 7th Precinct - in conjunction with the Michigan Dept. of Corrections, Michigan State Police, Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, U.S. Border Patrol, and other security directors in the East Jefferson corridor. 

The meeting is designed to share information, develop crime fighting & prevention strategies, and to evaluate the impact of collaborative efforts underway in your neighborhood.
